Resource mobilization and collaboration.

Financial resources.

Mobilizing resources from donors is not a creative art but a science underpinned by logic and tools. In my career I have leveraged significant donor investments in child protection from numerous governments such as Australia, Japan. USA, including mobilizing US$ 9.1 m from DFID for child protection systems strengthening.

At Child Protection in International Development my job is to support you to have the tools and procedures to strengthen your efforts to get the funds you need to get your job done. This includes writing high quality donor proposal and reports, and setting up systems to track and document results from investments from donors.

Co-creation & collaboration.

Child protection teams that are successful at attracting investments from donors are usually good at co-creating interventions with donors and collaborating with donors on their implementation.

If your job is to support the achievement of the child protection targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), how will you manage your relations with donors over the coming decade?

At Child Protection in International Development my job is to support you to create a donor engagement and collaboration strategy or if you already have a strategy, to review and revise it as necessary. This type of strategy is about how you will nurture and grow the partnerships with donors based on collaboration and co-creation.
