A world changed, where all children - girls and boys everywhere - are protected.
A world changed where all children, girls and boys everywhere are protected, is central to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). My contribution to making this vision a reality is by supporting people such as you to do the best job you can so that your efforts to protect children and young people get the results you want.
This is my personal mission at Child Protection in International Development.
Technical Support.
Strategy and planning are everything. At the heart of any organised and effective child protection response are people who know what results look like and how to chart a course to achieve those results. They have knowledge about what works, what doesn’t and what’s promising. They have skills in strategic planning, programme design and review. They know how to problem solve. They know how to nurture and expand partnerships with civil society, donors and the private sector. They know how to influence decision making levels in government to leverage policy and financial commitments for children. They know how to show results from investments by donors.
At Child Protection in International Development my job is to provide you with the technical support you need to get your job done.
At the heart of any organised and effective child protection response are people who know how to gather, analyse and disseminate quality gender sensitive data and information. They know how to use data to identify which children (individuals and groups of children) are vulnerable and why. With this knowledge they know how child protection becomes possible. They know how to use data to create evidence-based programmes, policies, advocacy and behaviour change interventions. They know the value of using data to innovate - to design or test new approaches to overcome challenges and / or to achieve faster or more sustainable results.
At Child Protection in International Development my job is to support you to generate and manage the knowledge you need to get your job done.
Knowledge Generation.
Coaching, Mentoring & Team Building.
People (paid or volunteers) who are valued and supported to achieve great things for children are at the heart of any organised and effective child protection response. They have a strong commitment to teamwork and understand the dynamics that make a team great and know what can make a team fail. They know how to resolve conflict and how to nurture success. They strive to strike the right work-life balance.
At Child Protection in International Development, my job is to support your team - and the individuals in it - to get the job done.
