Knowledge Generation.
At Child Protection in International Development my job is to support you to generate and manage the knowledge you need to get your job done. This includes supporting and conducting the following activities:
gather, analyse and disseminate quality gender sensitive data and information
qualitative and quantitative research and conducting formative evaluations
use data to identify which children (individuals and groups of children) are vulnerable and why and to design interventions based on this knowledge
use data to create evidence based interventions such as programmes, policies, advocacy and behavior change campaigns
write quality lessons learned, concept notes, programme strategy notes, and Theories of Change (ToC)
use data to innovate - to design or test new approaches to overcome challenges and / or to achieve faster and more sustainable results.
